Description
QF 1-фунтовое орудие (англ. QF 1 pounder pom-pom)— скорострельная автоматическая 37-мм пушка, разработанная Хайремом Максимом. Было первым в мире орудием своего класса и широко использовалось вплоть до конца Первой мировой войны. За характерный звук перезарядки получило прозвище «пом-пом», так же, как и последующие орудия QF 2 pounder Mark II и Mark VIII. Использовалось как пехотное орудие и для противовоздушной обороны в испано-американской, второй англо-бурской и Первой мировой войнах.
