Не лень, просто не вижу смысла, чтобы ради одного человека, все загружаемые модели переконвертировать еще и в 3ds.

Всё так наверно, для просмотра, но для Battlefield 2 получаются менее качественные модели, чем из 3ds и Fbx - замыленные и раздутые. Сбиваются текстуры в одну кучу, приходится всё экспортировать отдельно по частям, потом опять собирать. Ну если лень - дело Ваше. Просто мне просить человека 100 раз из Макса2014 в Макс2009 перегнать не очень хочется.

Что именно в obj не так?
Это самый ходовой формат, между 3д софтом.

А добавлять .3ds файл в Ваши раздачи затруднительно ? Мах2009 для battlefiel 2 только, а из объедка (.obj ) пухлые модели получаются.

Just found out that there are a whole bunch of model ports from BF1 found at this address: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1529142

The only issue is that all the downloads that I've tried seem to lack proper color maps for the textures, only normal and specular maps. Weird.
