Description

АКМ (7,62-мм Автомат Калашникова модернизированный) - автомат, принятый на вооружение в 1959 году взамен автомата АК и являющийся его дальнейшим развитием.

АКМС - вариант АКМ со складным вниз под цевье металлическим прикладом. Система крепления приклада была изменена по сравнению с АКС. Приклад приподнят для приближения точки упора к линии стрельбы. Модификация разработана специально для десантников.
