But recently there were many projects based on Russian or Soviet environment: Chernobyl series by HBO, Metro Exodus, Chernobylite the game, STALKER games and so on. Post-Soviet setting remains popular nowadays. (I guess the Hype Train is just passing through Russia)

come on! I know plenty of guys who were looking for soviet buildings for their projects. Look around! Soviet vehicles and cars models ARE popular, but there are still no good building models. Thus, many guys have no choice but use old buildings from Stalker (despite them being old as dinosaurs).
Look, I had no intention to convince you to do something as if I was the one who need it (I have all I need), I just told you the idea and the fact that someone might put Soviet buildings to good use. If you do not want to upload - ok, it's up to you.

and who will use those Soviet model?

in Pripyat maps of Warface there are typical Soviet buildings can be seen: those are 5- and 9-storey living houses that are build of block elements (you can find them in the game files, somewhere in "Architecture" folder. Why wouldn't you upload them as well?

I advise you to upload living apartment blocks from Pripyat, they might be very useful for someone here.
