Description
Bagger 288 - экскаватор, построенный в 1978 году немецкой компанией Krupp для предприятия Rheinbraun. По завершении строительства машины по размерам Bagger 288 превзошёл гусеничный транспортёр НАСА для транспортировки шаттлов и ракет Аполлон на пусковую площадку. До постройки Bagger 293 являлся крупнейшей самоходной установкой в мире, с весом 13 500 тонн. Однако Bagger получает энергию от внешних источников, поэтому его было бы точнее назвать движимым аппаратом для карьерных работ.
