   well as the description already mentions, could someone tell me, what are the necessary programs to extract and export models from state of decay to 3ds.

   Dont even bother, they are horrible. For me it took me forever to extract a female, and the models only work in-game, it will be a pain in the ass to gather everything togther to use them for anything you need, it would be easier to model them from 0.
   Every model is compound by flat colours and a top layer of detail, made translucent. This is how Unreal Engine idiots work.
